In Difference
We live in a time of what seems continuous anxiety inducing states. Tortured by worry we fantasise of calm, dream of recognition and strive for the perfect home, love life, status and travelling to exotic places. Three artists, Rob Hamp, Jay Taylor and Andy Spackman, attempt to present the antidote in association with Stryx Gallery. 'In Difference’, is an exhibition of a collective mindset of stoic thought. Embracing the varied practices on show (painting, sculpture, film and music), the works are brought together with a playful approach to life, art and a humorous acceptance that the one thing we all have in common, is that we are different.
