For July’s edition of Slice, Nottingham based artist Suzanne van der Lingen will be presenting new video works in the newly transformed workshop space at Stryx.
Suzanne van der Lingen is an artist and writer based in Nottingham. Her work often explores the interplay between text and image, parallel narrative structures such as subtitles and footnotes, and forms of autofiction. ‘I’ll be your mirror’ is inspired by extramission, the Pre-Socratic theory that eyes emit rays of light to achieve vision.
