This question was posed to over 20 artists – including Stryx studio holders Birmingham City University Textile Design and Birmingham School of Art graduates and creatives in Birmingham.
The Artist Pound is an evolving socially engaged initiative seeded by Jemima Graham, exploring value, care, labour and exchange in the creative sector. This exhibition is the beginning of a wider dialogue in our creative ecology around how we sustain ourselves and each other.
This is a show with an invitation to rethink what we value and how we collectively seed alternative realities.
