A Solo Exhibition by Karolina Korupczynska that operates collaboratively on a curatorial basis with Emma Leppington. The exhibition is based upon the culmination and finalised response to the Little Histories Project, a workshop series of invitational events teaching artistic practises and techniques to young people with special educational needs. The show feature documentary photographs by Ian Jones and selected pieces created by workshop participants as produced during the series. Following on from the programs concept of engaging with, and inviting participants to explore various processes of creating a non-literal self-portrait Korupczynska enhances the process to an additional dimension through the creation of a relational aesthetic piece. The audience is invited to a constructed replica of the living spaces occupied by the residential workshop participants, within which the artworks that they created will be presented within an everyday scenario. https://www.littlehistoriesproject.co.uk
