The Mothership residency is an inspiring showcase featuring work by mother-artists and their children, created over the course of October 2024 - February 2025. 

Rooted in the ethos of inclusivity and support, the Mothership Studio provides a unique co-working creative space with integrated, radical childcare options. This residency offers a ground-breaking model for empowering mothers to continue their artistic practice and navigate the challenges of caregiving without the constraints of traditional childcare systems.

The Mothership Residency was inspired by conversations with local mother-artists attending Stryx's children’s activities and the Birmingham M/others Who Make hub.
