Stryx is inviting proposals for artists in residence - spring -summer 2020 (March - June) with exhibition programme concluding in August 2020
SOUP is an Arts Council funded (2017/2019) artist residency programme, aimed at developing artistic collaborations and networks, forming relationships to build a strong connected arts community.
SOUPptVI 2020 is the next phase of Soup - Stryx Artist Residency Programme in partnership with Asylum Gallery. The project is a catalyst to strengthen relationships & exchanges between the partners. It allows expansion of networks & diversification of audiences across Birmingham and Wolverhampton.
Selected emerging artists will be based at Stryx for 3 months producing a group exhibition in June 2020. They will then engage with individual development activities at Asylum Gallery, producing a solo exhibition each between July and August 2020.
