The exhibition brings together the five individual practices of Lily Ackroyd-Willoughby, Sarah-Joy Ford, Daisy Forster, Tom McGinn and Ned Pooler.
SEIZE Projects is an organisation run by a core team of 5 artists, which coordinates an itinerant programme of events and exhibitions that seek to address ideas and generate discourse relevant to contemporary art and artists today.
Often critical or tongue-in-cheek, projects range from showcases of member’s own creative practices, to large scale open calls and shows that contain a mix of invited artists; providing opportunities for emerging artists to exhibit alongside more established voices.
Their exhibitions are driven by issues that emerge in the studio, and can therefore be seen to function as responses to questions that many face daily when tasked with creating art objects.
