Stryx for Kids - Tie-Dye Magic: Colour, Create & Rewear
Saturday 01/08/26 11am-1pm
Stryx, Jewellery Quarter

Join Mothership residency artist Freya Whittaker as she takes you on tie dye adventure!

Watch colours mix, blend and transform as you create your very own tie-dye-inspired masterpiece using magical bleeding tissue paper! Experiment with vibrant colours and playful patterns while giving a pre-loved garment or textile a colourful new life.

This fun, hands-on workshop invites children to explore their creativity and turn something old into something magical, unique and ready to be loved all over again!

What to Bring:
Bring your own clean, white or light-coloured cotton item to transform. It could be a T-shirt, pair of socks, tote bag, pillowcase or anything else made from cotton that you would like to repurpose and reuse.

For the brightest and most colourful results, choose an item that is mostly or entirely cotton. Please avoid dark-coloured fabrics, as the colours may not show up clearly.

All other magical making materials and equipment will be provided.

Please wear old clothes or bring an apron.
