In partnership with Birmingham City University (BCU) and designed specifically for their alumni, The Window Residency was created to support new graduates in progressing from their final undergrad and MA shows to move forward with their practice.
The Graduate Window Residency will support the artist through mentoring sessions, live art talk events, deliver children and adult focused workshops using themes and materials relating to their practice and residency, and further via their social media to develop and promote the art practice.
The proposed activity will be encouraging new networks in the early stages of the artist's career development. It will be vital for the progression into a professional art environment and will significantly support the graduate to naturally progress their art career.
